am attempting to use the wind filter on text but when I attempt to use the filter it is greyed out and not available.I have followed several turorials and attempted to look it up in a book I have but am missing something. I have typed the text on a background, rasterized it according to instructions, then when I attempt to use the filter it is greyed out and I am not able to select it.

I'm reading a tutorial to do some stuff and it says to use wind so yeh i go to Filter, Stylize and walla there is no wind?
Half of my filters are missing I think, is there a place I can download them?

I've had this problem with the wind filter for a while now. For some reason, when I try to apply the filter, the actual wind effect doesn't appear. Instead, part of the object is cut away, as if the background was being 'blown' onto the object. I'm usually applying the filter to text,

my Wind Filter is not creating the 'tracers' or 'trails' that I am used to seeing.My goal is to create a motion effect on white text.Â The 'tails' are not growing in length when I duplicate the filter over & over like it should.

the streaks are remaining within the text. It's not creating the trailing streaks that I need.

When I want to apply the filter 'Wind' effect then this effect goes inwards into a layer, and i want it to go outwards.

I'm using the oil paint filter and for some reason it doesn't turn out when I use it. Cdc rs 232 emulation demo driver download. It doesn't seem to be an issue for very very small sized images, if I make the photo smaller it will work just fine. However, for any regular sized images I get this result below. I just got a new computer, so i'm not sure what the issue could be?

downloaded photoshop 7.0. I also found a plug in called gif -x. I installed both and tried follow a tutorial's instructions. The tutorial said I had to open the pic I wanted to edit, select it, then I had to select Filter - Ulead Effects - then the gif -x thing. But when I click on the filter button, all the selections under it, including 'Ulead Effects' were dimmed. I couldn't use any filter functions!

I'm running CS6 on Windows7, Intel HD Graphics P4000 with driver updated.Â I have used the oil paint filter successfully in the past.Â Now when I try to use it, the filter window comes up, and it notes that the image I want to work on is at 25% size, but it remains blank -- the image itself never shows.

I own CS6 and just downloaded the Photoshop CC trial version.Â I cannot get the oilpaint filter to work in either.Â I must be missing something.Â When I open a photo, select filters and then oilpaint - all I get is the grey screen (with the oilpaint tools).Â But no photo is there for me to apply the filter effect.

The PS I downloaded from CC doesn't work -- no illumination and some other functions -- I deactivated and re-uploaded -functions and then crashed agian -- computer is new and shouldn't be the problem.

Firstly - when I create a document at 48x48 at 72ppi, it comes out as you would expect, 48x48 on a screen. However if I enter 48x48 and try to enter 326ppi, it doesn't adjust the canvas size at all.

Also when I have my 48x48 72ppi document open and go to image > image size, and adjust only the ppi to 326..it does nothing! What should be happening is the canvas become 72:326 ratio larger to reflect the new ppi, or in other words, make the canvas size larger in proportion to this so when you take your new 326ppi image to the iphone it is retina at 48x48..however this is clearly not happening.

In Photoshop CS2, I select Help > How to fix and enhance photos > to touch up spots, scratches, and wrinkles. Instead of help on that, Adobe Help Center 2.1 shows up with nothing in it.

I have an old version of the creative suite that is all right for what I do (information for a charitable organisation for medical research) installed in 2008. For quite a while now every once in a while when I start up I get a screen asking me to register. But since I already am registered Adobe just said to click on later and go on working. But this morning the screen is empty so I can't click anywhere. I've tried restarting and even turning off the computer and trying to restart my day.
